The ECS Program

Elkhart Cyber School is pioneering uncharted territory in distance education. The program established by ECS is aimed at using new technologies of the 21st century to meet the ever-changing needs of diverse students in today's society. Key aspects of this program that will help to ensure the success of each student include the following:

Options

  • Enroll full-time with ECS and work toward a Kansas high school diploma.
  • Enroll in one or two courses while attending another school full time to earn high school credit. Read more about this option.
Access
  • Computers and books leased to ECS families for a minimal fee of $20.  (Returning students pay only $5.)*
  • Certified instructors to lead each course.
  • Access to coursework 24 hours a day, seven days a week from any computer.
Academics
  • Individualized Study Plans customized to meet the needs of each individual student.
  • Curriculum tied tightly to Kansas State Standards.
  • Proctored final exams in all 9-12 courses.
  • Kansas State Assessments administered to required grade levels.
  • Placement testing for all students.
