Elkhart Cyber School to Become Kansas Connections Academy

Exciting changes on the horizon

Elkhart Cyber School will open its doors for the 2010-11 school year as Kansas Connections Academy (KCA).

Since our school launched in 2001, we’ve had a stellar record of accomplishment for students throughout the state of Kansas. As we put plans in place for the school to grow and thrive, we are thrilled to have found a partner who shares our beliefs about providing a top quality education focused on student success.

If you are not familiar with Connections Academy, it is a leading national provider of high-quality, highly accountable, virtual public K-12 schools operated in partnership with charter schools, school districts, and state departments of education. Connections Academy schools deliver top quality, personalized education for students. Combining certified teachers, a proven curriculum, technology tools, and community experiences, Connections Academy creates a supportive, successful environment for children who want an individualized approach to education. KCA will be based right here in Elkhart, and I will be continuing as the principal along with many of the teachers and support staff. We will provide a complete school directory in the next couple of months. We just launched a Kansas Connections Academy website, where you will find additional information, including how to enroll. Virtual and face-to-face information sessions begin soon, including a virtual information session just for our current families to get all of your questions answered.
