I attended Kindergarten through 12th grade in St. Marys, a small town near Topeka, Kansas. I graduated from St. Marys High School in 2002. While attending Emporia State, I student taught in a 4th and 6th grade classroom. Then in May of 2006, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I began my teaching career with ECS as the 3rd and 4th grade teacher last year. In my spare time I enjoy participating in Girl Scout activities, scrapbooking, and taking my puppy for a walk.  

I have three siblings -CW, Meredith, and Danny. CW (my older brother) graduated from KSU, received a Master's, and is in his second year at KSU Vet School. He has been married to Ruthie for six years. My younger sister, Meredith, is a junior at Emporia State, majoring in Health Promotions. She loves to play softball and drive around in her yellow VW Bug. Danny, the youngest (but tallest) of all of us, is a sophomore at St. Marys High. He plays football, is involved with Student Council, and enjoys weight lifting. He just started driving... I can't believe it! My parents both work in Topeka, and spend every cent on their dog, Louise. She is the most spoiled of all of us. We're one big happy family!
