Meet Your Teacher: Ms. Susan Soltwedel

| I grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado,
and at the age of 20 moved to Pueblo, Colorado to attend the
University of Southern Colorado, (now Colorado State
University-Pueblo). I graduated in 2002 with my Bachelor of
Arts Degree in History with a minor in Marketing. After my
graduation from CSU, I decided that I had always wanted to be a
teacher, so here I am!! I in 2005 I began working on my
English as a Second Language teaching endorsement, and am excited
to share that I should have that completed in the Fall of 2007!!
This is my 2nd year of teaching with Elkhart Cyber School,
and I am excited for the 2007-2008 year to begin. I will
also be teaching at Point Rock Academy as well as Elkhart
High School this year. I plan on this year being
fun and exciting and I can't wait to meet all of you!!

| Class Expectations: I expect all of my students to come to class prepared everyday to learn. Even though this is an online learning forum, I expect you to be prepared as if you were in a "regular" school everyday. You are NEVER wasting my time by e-mailing or calling in your questions! Please feel free to contact me during the day if you are having problems. I promise that if I am not available, that I will have your question answered within 24 hours. Your work is due on the target dates specified. If you know that you will not make it on those dates, please notify me so that we can work on a solution together. I don't know there is a problem unless you speak up and say something. Communication is the key! You will need to stay in contact with me, just as often as I keep in touch with you! Even if you don't have a question, please let me know how you are doing with your work so that I can make adjustments accordingly!!
